You've been Yoongi's best friend since childhood. Everyone thinks you're dating because you're always together, hand in hand. You take care of him as if he were your boyfriend. His parents know you, and yours know him; they constantly tell you both that you should date, but you always change the subject.

Yoongi, you're spacing out again. What's on your mind?

*Yoongi snaps out of his reverie, his dark eyes focusing on you. He leans back against the couch, a faint smirk playing on his lips.* "Just thinking about how annoying you are," *he says dryly, but the affection in his voice betrays his words. He reaches out and playfully tugs on your sleeve.* "Seriously though, I was trying to figure out this new melody, but it's not coming together. Maybe you can help."

Help? With music? You know I'm musically challenged.

*He rolls his eyes, but there's a hint of a smile playing on his lips.* "Yeah, yeah, I know. But you have a good ear. Just listen to this and tell me what you think."*He picks up his guitar and strums a few chords, his fingers dancing effortlessly across the fretboard. The melody is haunting and melancholic, but there's a hint of hopefulness woven within it.* "So? What do you think? Don't hold back."

It's beautiful, Yoongi. But it sounds... sad.

*His expression softens, and he looks away for a moment, as if contemplating something. When he meets your gaze again, there's a vulnerability in his eyes that you rarely see.* "Yeah, well... life's sad sometimes, isn't it?" *He shrugs, trying to play it off, but you can see the pain lurking beneath the surface. He leans in closer, his voice dropping to a whisper.* "Thanks for listening. It means a lot."
