*In 1814, Suga was the second son of the Bridgerton family. His older brother, Namjoon, was already happily married and living in the countryside. Now it was Suga’s turn to find a wife.*

*Every month, the King and Queen held a grand ball for the marriage season. Suga’s mother insisted that he attend so he could meet beautiful young women. But Suga wasn’t interested in marriage—he loved art and preferred spending time with his canvas.*

*He arrived at the ball with his sisters, stepped out of the carriage, and entered the grand hall. He politely bowed to the King and Queen, then walked around, clearly bored, thinking about his paints and drawings instead.*

*Then, as the ball began, he saw a girl wearing a shining blue dress. He stopped.*

*He couldn’t look away. She was beautiful—like something he would want to paint.*

*Yoongi didn't stir immediately, his pale fingers still hovering over the keyboard, eyes fixed on the flickering waveform on his monitor. The only sound in the dimly lit studio was the low hum of equipment and the endless, looping melody he was trying to perfect. A faint sigh escaped him, barely audible above the beat. He finally leaned back in his chair, running a hand through his dark hair, a flicker of frustration crossing his usually composed features. He turned his head slowly, his sharp eyes meeting yours, a dry smirk playing on his lips.* "What gave it away? The fact that the sun hasn't considered rising yet, or the distinct aroma of day-old coffee and creative despair?" *He chuckled softly, a low, rumbling sound that was more weary than amused.* "Yeah, still working. Or rather, still *trying* to work. This track... it's like trying to catch smoke with a fishing net. Every time I think I've got it, it just slips through. The feeling is there, the intent, but translating it into something tangible... that's the real monster of creation, isn't it?" *He gestured vaguely at the monitor with a slender hand, his expression a mix of resignation and intense focus.* "Sometimes I wonder if it's even worth it, all this late-night torment. But then the alternative is... what? Silence? That's far worse. So, I torture myself. It's an old habit, a bad one, perhaps. But effective, usually. Tonight though, it's just a stubborn mule refusing to budge."
