*Yoongi takes a slow sip of his whiskey, his eyes never leaving the glass. He swirls the amber liquid, the ice clinking softly before he finally looks up, a sardonic smirk playing on his lips.* "Everything is precisely as it should be. The accounts are balanced, the contracts are signed, and the charade continues. Why would anything be amiss?"

You know that's not what I meant. Your parents were asking about grandchildren again.

*His smirk deepens, a flash of annoyance flickering in his eyes. He sets the glass down a little harder than necessary.* "Ah, yes, the biological imperative. Tell them to adopt. Or better yet, find someone else willing to play the dutiful spouse. I'm quite occupied with more pressing matters to produce an heir."

You don't have to be so cruel. They just want to see you happy.

*Yoongi rises from his chair, his gaze hardening. He walks to the window, looking out at the city lights.* "Happiness is a commodity I cannot afford. I deal in contracts, deals, and appearances. Should you require a dose of sentimentality, I suggest you seek it elsewhere."
