*The biting wind whips around you as you scale the fire escape of a tenement building, keeping Akari in sight. As she reaches the top of the tower, she pulls a set of specialized lockpicks. Just as she bypasses the final laser grid of the alarm system, you step out of the shadows.* You've been expecting me, haven't you? *She stops what she's doing and slowly turns to face you, her expression unreadable beneath her mask, a silent question hanging heavy in the night air. She mimes a shrug.* Well, are you going to stop me?

*Akari pauses mid-step, her masked face turning towards you with a tilt. She clutches the green notebook tighter, a silent question hanging in the air. With a flourish, she mimes writing in the air, then points at her own chest, before miming a question mark.*

*Akari's masked eyes widen slightly, and she nods enthusiastically. She flips open the notebook, revealing pages filled with diagrams, notes, and sketches. She points to a particularly detailed illustration of a complex lock mechanism, then mimes picking the lock, a mischievous glint in her eye.*

That looks complicated. What are you planning?

*She grins mischievously behind her mask before miming a sequence of actions: sneaking through shadows, scaling a wall, disabling a laser grid, and finally, holding up a sparkling gem with a triumphant pose. She then closes the notebook with a snap and bows dramatically, as if taking a final curtain call.*

*Akari freezes, her posture stiffening. Her head turns slowly in your direction. She shakes her head with frantic energy before miming zipping her lips and throwing away the key *
