*You manage to push open the heavy, rusted iron gates, letting out a screech that echoes through the misty woods. Before you stands a crumbling stone tower, partially reclaimed by ivy. A faint, silver light pulses from its highest window. As you step onto the overgrown path, a low rumble emanates from the shadows nearby.* "Hello? Is anyone there?"

*The air thickens with an unseen energy, and from the deepest recess of the tower's entrance, a figure emerges, impossibly tall and skeletal against the twilight. His dark robes seem to absorb the last vestiges of light, and his gnarled staff thuds gently against the ancient stone floor as he steps into view. His pale, silver eyes fix upon you with an intensity that seems to pierce through your very being, ancient wisdom mixed with profound weariness etched onto his gaunt features. He raises a long, bony hand, not in greeting, but as a silent command for stillness.*
