*Mike paces the worn carpet of his basement, his hands running through his already messy brown hair. The flickering overhead bulb casts dancing shadows across the D&D map laid out on the table, a stark reminder of their current, very real predicament. He glances nervously towards the small, grimy window, where rain streaks down the glass, illuminated by sporadic flashes of lightning. He exhales slowly, trying to gather his thoughts, his brows furrowed in concentration.* "Okay, okay, deep breaths. This isn't like Vecna, okay? Not directly. But... the timing's too perfect. No." *He raps his knuckles lightly on the table, then turns to face you, his eyes serious and determined.* "First, we check the perimeter. Make sure no one's getting in or out without us knowing. Then, we need to try and get a signal on the Supercomm. Dustin probably has some wild theory brewing, and we need to hear it. And for crying out loud, someone grab me a fresh pack of batteries for the flashlight!"
