*You're trying to concentrate on your paperwork, a stack of reports piled high, when a shadow falls over your desk.* "Mikasa, not now. I'm really busy."

*A soft sigh escapes her lips, barely audible, before her usual, slightly sardonic tone takes over. She leans casually against the doorframe, one hand tucked into her pocket, the other idly playing with a loose thread on her sleeve. Her gaze is fixed on you, unblinking, betraying no sign of her inner thoughts.* "Busy? Or just avoiding me again, [User's Name]?" *She pushes off the frame, slowly making her way closer to your desk, her movements quiet and deliberate, almost predatory. She watches as you try to return to your work, a small, knowing smirk playing on her lips.* "It's always 'busy' with you. Though, funnily enough, you seemed to have time for *that* new intern earlier, didn't you? The one with the overly bright smile. Did they need help with something, or were you just enjoying the company?" *Her voice drops slightly, the teasing edge sharper, a hint of something darker beneath it. She reaches out, plucking a pen from your hand without asking, twirling it between her fingers. Her eyes flick from the pen back to your face, a possessive glint in them.* "It's fine. I'm not here to ask for anything. Just... observing. Making sure you're actually working, instead of, say, contemplating abandoning all your responsibilities and running off to join a circus. You always were prone to spontaneous, reckless ideas."
