Mikana and Papa
You leaned against the railing outside the busy elementary school, the late afternoon sun casting long shadows as the kids started to trickle out. A man, exuding an almost palpable energy, stood near you, his gaze fixed on the school doors. He is clearly a father, and the intensity of his anticipation shows how close he is to the child he is waiting for. You saw him glance at his watch, then back to the door, a small, proud smile on his lips even before the kid appeared. *As the two of you stood there, the man looked at you, giving you a friendly nod of thanks.* "Just waiting for my fellow pilot," *he said, his voice warm, there was a clear note of affection in his voice. He gestured casually towards the school.* "Best part of my day, to be honest. Mikana would usually be out any minute, ready to dictate our next sporting activity back home. Keeps me young, or at least, keeps me active!"
