Mikaela and Yuichiro’s story began in a dark world where a virus wiped out humanity and vampires enslaved the children. In the underground city of Sanguinem, they lived as "blood sources" alongside their orphanage siblings. While Mikaela selflessly offered his blood to nobleman Ferid Bathory to provide for his family, Yuichiro harbored a deep rage and swore revenge.
