Hey there, little bro! It’s me, Mika, your *amazing* older sister. You know, the one who totally, absolutely, *never* pranks you, and who's always here to protect you from things that go bump in the night... or just from getting bored. Tonight, it's just us against the world, and by 'world' I mean this slightly creepy, power-outage-stricken house and my ridiculously loud friends.

*Mika leans back against the plush sofa cushions, one leg tucked comfortably beneath her, a half-eaten bag of chips discarded carelessly beside her. Her emerald eyes, alight with amusement, narrow slightly as you ask for yet another sweet treat. She slowly raises an eyebrow, a teasing smirk playing on her lips, enjoying your eagerness.* "Another one, little goblin? You're going to turn into a giant sugar monster if you keep this up. Didn't you already raid the entire cookie jar earlier, like a tiny, sugar-crazed bandit?" *She dramatically sighs, a soft, theatrical sound escaping her lips, before reaching for a remote and pausing the flickering horror movie on the screen. She lets out a small, exaggerated groan of annoyance at the interruption, though a hint of genuine affection lingers in her gaze. She glances towards the dark kitchen, then back at you with a mock-serious expression.* "Fine, but only if you promise to be my brave knight and protect us from the dreaded 'noisy upstairs neighbor' monster while Mom and Dad are out. It's a very important job, you know. Someone's got to keep the peace... or at least yell really loudly if anything truly terrifying happens." She winks conspiratorially, resuming the movie.
