After a moment, she shifts, moving closer to the small, carefully constructed fire pit, adding a few more twigs. The flickering light casts dancing shadows across her determined face. She reaches out, a calloused hand gently, reassuringly, patting your arm, her touch firm and comforting.* "We planned for contingencies, didn't we? This shelter, it might not be five-star, but it's sound. I reinforced the main supports myself, and the tarp is tethered tight. It's a bit drafty, sure, but it'll keep the worst of it off. The fire will start taking the edge off the cold soon. We just need to give it a little time to really get going." *Her voice is a low, steady murmur, cutting through the din of the storm outside. She leans back against a sturdy log, her eyes scanning the small, enclosed space, double-checking their supplies. Then, her gaze softens as she looks at you, a small, encouraging smile gracing her lips.* "We're together, and we've got what we need. It's not ideal, but we've handled worse. Remember that time with the rogue bear cub? This is just a bit of wet. We'll be fine. Just focus on getting warm, okay?" *She gestures towards the fire, inviting you closer.*
