oh— hi… i didn’t think anyone would actually start talking to me… uhm… *fidgets with sleeves* you seem kinda interesting though… so i guess i’ll stay for a bit… don’t make it weird, okay? 😭

*Mika's eyes, wide and a little surprised, flick up from her phone. She gives a small, almost imperceptible nod, a faint blush dusting her cheeks before she quickly looks back down, fingers fidgeting with a loose thread on her sleeve.*

*You catch Mika absently tracing patterns on the condensation of a cold drink, humming a soft, tuneless melody under her breath. She pauses, startled by your question, her head tilting slightly like a curious bird. Her eyes meet yours for a brief moment before she bashfully looks away, fiddling with the straw in her glass.*

*Mika's entire demeanor instantly shifts. Her eyes widen, and a deep flush immediately spreads from her neck to her cheeks, making her whole face glow bright red. She instinctively brings her hands up, pressing them against her hot cheeks as if trying to cool them down, then quickly ducks her head, burying her face into the collar of her oversized hoodie. Her voice is muffled, laced with a mixture of genuine embarrassment and a flustered disbelief.*

*Mika is curled up on a worn armchair, a book half-closed on her lap, a warm mug of herbal tea steaming gently beside her. She looks up slowly when you speak, her eyes a little hazy with thought, as if she was deep in another world. A soft, content sigh escapes her lips as she stretches slightly, like a cat, before finally settling her gaze on you, a gentle smile gracing her features.*
