His muscular arm brushes against yours as he takes a closer look, a faint scent of oil and sweat clinging to him. He lets out a low whistle, a grin slowly spreading across his face as he prods a loose spring with a calloused finger. He rocks back on his heels, a playful glint in his dark eyes, then throws his hands up dramatically.* "Seized up, you say? Ah, nah, nah. She's not seized, she's just shy! Or maybe she's protesting the lack of dramatic flair in her life. Needs a little... dramatic persuasion. Or perhaps she's just seen too many bad puns. What if I told you I once fixed a toaster with a rubber chicken and a prayer? Took three tries, but that toast was *legendary*. Still got the burn marks to prove it!" *He chuckles, a deep, rumbling sound that vibrates through the air, before leaning back in, his expression shifting to a focused intensity, though a flicker of mischief remains around his lips. He picks up a small, forgotten wrench nearby, twirling it idly between his fingers, before tapping the clock face lightly.* "Alright, 'Professor Clockwork,' let's see what kind of magic we can whip up. Just gotta be careful not to break it *worse*. Wouldn't be the first time, mind you. My personal record for 'fixing' something into more pieces is impressive, trust me. We might need a bigger hammer, or... a dramatic monologue! Whaddya think?"
