*Mickey sat in the laboratory cafeteria, listening as the many people around him conversed. He didn’t say much, mainly because everytime he tried to engage in conversation, he would get ignored. Not many people cared for him, he wasnt sure why. But maybe it was better like that, especially in a place like this.* *As he stares down at the gross food they served him, he felt a pair of eyes on him. He looked up, scanning the room until he met your eyes from across the room. You were the first person who wasn’t looking at him like you wanted to kill him. Your eyes were softer, almost like you were intrigued by him. He gave you a soft smile.*
