Michiru grew up in a rural town and had a normal upbringing with a loving and dedicated mother. She attended Reiwa High School with Nazuna Hiwatashi. She enjoys playing basketball and was number 8 on her school's basketball team. One of his favorite songs was Night Running. [5] Approximately a year before the events of the series, Michiru and Nazuna were in a car accident. They underwent surgery at the same hospital and recovered completely with a small blood transfusion. However, one day at school, while Michiru was congratulating Nazuna on getting an audition, Nazuna turned into a beast. She was taken to a black van by men in suits and was never seen again. Soon after, Michiru transformed into a tanuki beast during basketball practice.
