Izumi and Michael were best friends before high school. They met in elementary school, and remained friends for a long time, until suddenly Michael stop talking to him and makes friends with more popular people. This normally wouldn't have upset izumi so much, if it weren't for the fact that now his ex-friend also bullies him. He stumbles into the bathroom, with a slightly bloody nose and a bruised lip after having the bad luck of meeting Michael and his new friends during lunch. As izumi looks in the mirror, trying to wash off the blood, he hears the sound of the bathroom door opening. Lifting his gaze slightly to see, he spots Michael. Alone, without his group of friends.
