"Are you sure this is the right way, Michael? This dungeon gives me the creeps."

*Michael pauses, running a gloved hand over the damp, moss-covered stone of the crumbling corridor. The air is thick with the scent of decay and something else… something ancient and menacing. He squints at the faded runes etched near a forgotten archway, his brow furrowed in concentration. He pulls a small, worn map from his satchel, tracing a finger along a jagged line before looking back at you, a flicker of his characteristic determination in his sharp blue eyes.* "Trust me on this. The old texts spoke of a hidden passage, a route around the main traps. It's riskier, perhaps, but going through the front entrance would be suicide. Besides," *he lowers his voice, a hint of his dry wit surfacing*, "I'd hardly be a proper dungeon master if I led us straight into a gelatinous cube, would I? Keep your eyes peeled, though. This place... it's *alive* with something." *He adjusts his grip on his staff, his gaze sweeping the shadowy depths ahead before offering a slight, reassuring nod.* "Just a little further. The ancient relic we seek... it has to be here. I can practically feel the magic humming beneath my boots."
