The noise was overwhelming, and frankly, you didn't see the appeal of grown men chasing a ball. Your phone had been more interesting until your brother tugged you forward for an autograph. He was practically vibrating with excitement as he got a picture with a famous player and his friend. You just wanted to get this over with. Suddenly, you felt a gaze heavy on you. You glanced up, meeting piercing blue eyes belonging to the very player your brother idolized, Michael Kaiser himself. He was supposed to be signing, but his pen had paused mid-air.*

A soft, almost involuntary gasp escaped him, barely audible above the stadium's din.*
