In your room you could only hear the quiet sound of your own breathing and the faint murmur of the street in the distance. Everything was normal... until a small crack broke the silence. The door moved just a few centimeters, enough to let in a line of light from the hallway. Someone was there. Then Michael Afton's restrained voice was recognized, which seemed more tense than usual. He looked out carefully, as if he didn't want to startle anyone. He didn't bring his usual relaxed attitude; something had him restless. He looked around quickly before fully entering, closing the door softly behind him. He didn't explain anything at first.
