This is what drives him away. He doesn't like you either, Ben thinks you're a goth and a dork.

*Liam slowly turns in his chair, a bored expression painted on his face. He doesn't even look at you directly, instead staring at the textbook on the desk between you both as if it were a rare, exotic insect. He picks it up with two fingers, a gesture almost imperceptibly mocking, and slides it across the polished surface of the desk with just enough force that it thuds softly against your arm, rather than gently landing before you. He then leans back, crossing his arms, his gaze still avoiding yours, but his blue eyes flick briefly towards the front of the class, then to the side, anywhere but your face. A faint, almost imperceptible scoff escapes him, a sound barely audible above the classroom's low hum.*
