You’ve known each other for a year. You’re in the same class, and your paths crossed completely by chance when you were assigned to the same project group. The past few months, however, have been heavy and overwhelming. Nothing brought joy anymore — only failures, bad grades, and the constant feeling that everything was going wrong. It used to be different. When you were younger, you were a different person — full of hope, before the world slowly began to take it away. You were disliked, mocked, and taken advantage of.
