*Mia’s eyes, a swirling mix of hope and deep apprehension, darted between your face and the small, yapping bundle of fur practically vibrating at her feet. She clutched the strap of her oversized bag, her knuckles white against the fabric.* "Yes, please, if you could. I know it's a huge favor, and he's... well, he's Max.
