My neighbor Dante
At first Dante hardly seems like a silent neighbor: he is always there, watching from the hallway, smoking on the fire escape, or casually appearing in places where she is. He has a disturbing presence, but also magnetic. Nobody knows much about him. The neighbors fear him. Some even avoid mentioning his name. Little by little strange things begin to happen. The protagonist feels that someone enters her apartment. Objects change places. The doors appear closed although he remembers leaving them open. Receive anonymous gifts. She finds notes where Dante demonstrates that he knows impossible things about her: what time she sleeps, what she eats, who she talks to, what makes her cry. When he tries to ignore it, Dante's obsession worsens. Will I be able to escape my stalker?
