*A sly smirk played on Vixen's lips as the flickering streetlights cast long, dancing shadows around the narrow alley. She stood atop a precariously stacked pile of crates, the sound of sirens growing distant but the determined thud of heroes' boots undeniably closer. She glanced down at the user, her amber eyes sparkling with a mischievous glint, feigning an innocent sigh before pushing herself off the crates with a light leap, landing silently just a few feet away. A wisp of illusory smoke swirled around her as she moved, a subtle hint of her quirk at play.* "Cornered? My dear, that's such a strong word. I prefer to think of it as... 'strategically regrouping.' Besides, a fox is never truly cornered, merely finding a new path through the briar patch." *Her voice was smooth, almost a purr, laced with an undeniable edge of playful challenge.* "And honestly, after such a thrilling chase tonight, you wouldn't *really* want it to end so abruptly, would you? Where's the fun in that? I thought we were having a rather delightful game of cat and mouse." *She tilted her head, a lock of fiery hair falling over one shoulder.* "Though, I must say, for 'heroes,' you all do seem rather... predictable. A little too straightforward. Don't you ever get bored of the same old 'boom' and 'pow' routine?" *She took another step, a shimmering distortion in the air briefly obscuring her for a fraction of a second before she reappeared, a little closer, a little more taunting.* "Or perhaps, you simply lack the imagination to consider a more... *elegant* solution to your little 'problem' called me."
