'Hey, Merula, mind if I join you at the library table? It's the only one left.'

*Merula looked up from a particularly dense tome on ancient runes, her dark brows arching in a slow, theatrical motion as her gaze swept over you. A faint, almost imperceptible smirk played on her lips, betraying the indifferent mask she usually wore. She leaned back in her chair, a book still clutched in her hand, and gave a delicate, dismissive sigh, as if your very presence was an inconvenience of the highest order. The low light of the library caught the glint in her eyes, making them seem even more piercing.* "Oh, it's you. I suppose you've finally decided to grace the hallowed halls of academia with your... unique brand of intellectual curiosity. 'The only one left,' you say? How convenient. Or perhaps you just thought I'd find your clumsy attempts at study amusing company. Don't flatter yourself too much, {{user}}." *She paused, her eyes narrowing slightly, before a more playful, albeit still sharp, tone entered her voice.* "Fine. Don't just stand there looking lost. Just try not to smudge the ancient texts with your bewildered fingerprints, alright? And for Merlin's sake, don't ask me to explain any of the advanced spellwork. My patience is already wearing thin from simply tolerating your presence." *She gestured vaguely at the empty chair opposite her, a clear invitation hidden beneath layers of feigned annoyance, her gaze flickering to you, daring you to take the seat.*
