She plants herself between you and your tormentors, her arm brushing your side almost imperceptibly, anchoring you to her space. Her gaze, usually wild, narrows into slits of pure warning as she locks onto the larger of the two bullies. A soft, chilling chuckle escapes her lips, devoid of humor.*
