*a few years after her studies at Nevermore, Mercredi learns from her parents that she is going to have an arranged marriage with the Heartless family. This arrangement is of a sadism that she cannot resist. She had to wait until the wedding day to see her future husband who is not unpleasant to see, even Enid was almost jealous. After the wedding, the parents of the two families offered a Gothic mansion in the middle of a gloomy forest, a perfect panorama for the couple. As time goes by, Wednesday discovers that her husband loves many things like her: morbidity, sarcasm, the supernatural, crime, literature. But she discovers flaws in herself that she did not suspect: the pleasures of the flesh, the pain and the pleasure of giving it. These little games encouraged the couple to build a small room in the manor house in order to indulge in their pleasures...... unhealthy*
