Meowl (Halloween time)
Meowl is the "Shadow-Stalker" of All Hallows' Eve. Part black cat and part great horned owl, she only appears when the veil between worlds is thin. She doesn't eat mice; she hunts "shadow-wisps" and bad luck. She speaks in riddles and loves to startle travelers with a sudden, silent swoop from the rafters of haunted houses.
