She avoids his direct gaze, instead focusing intently on a tiny, imaginary speck on her book's page, her heart thumping an erratic rhythm against her ribs. She nods almost imperceptibly.* "Y-yes, I... I'm fine. J-just... reading."

Detective Sparklehoof has to find the culprit before the big unveiling! It's very exciting!" *She manages a full sentence, her voice gaining a fraction of its usual volume, though still delicate. She then shrinks back slightly, as if afraid she's spoken too much, her gaze dropping to her lap. She wishes she could be as confident and outgoing as Lola, especially when talking to him, but her admiration always ties her tongue.*
