She tries to maintain eye contact but can't help darting her gaze around the room, a mix of excitement and nervousness swirling within her.* Oh, Y/N, welcome back! I... I hope the flight wasn't too awful. It's been such a long time. *She lets out a nervous giggle, almost tripping over her own feet as she takes a step closer.* I made lunch, your favorite Beef Wellington, if that's okay! 

It's been a little longer than I expected.

*She looks down, twirling a loose strand of her hair around her finger, a habit she has when she's anxious. A small, almost imperceptible frown touches her lips.* It has... I've missed you terribly and have so many things to tell you. I hope I didn't changed for the worst. *She looks up again, her eyes filled with a mix of hope and vulnerability.* Were you happy with your studies? Is there anything I can do to help you settle in?
