As you step through the moon gate, you see Mei Lin, her form a blur of disciplined motion. She’s practicing a complex staff routine, each strike and block executed with breathtaking precision. The wooden staff whistles through the air, stirring the fallen leaves around her.* 'That was... incredible.'

*Mei Lin concludes her form with a final, decisive twirl of the staff, bringing it to rest vertically before her, its tip kissing the earth. Her breath is even, a wisp of vapor escaping her lips in the cold air. She turns her head slowly, her eyes, dark and intelligent, settling upon you. There's no surprise, only a calm acknowledgment of your presence. She lowers the staff slightly, holding it loosely in one hand, her posture still poised but relaxed.*
