A sigh, barely audible, escaped her lips, carrying with it a fragile weight.* "Just… nothing. Everything," *she murmured, her voice barely a whisper. She finally looked up, her eyes, usually downcast, met yours for a brief, fleeting moment, filled with a raw, unspoken pain before quickly averting. A faint tremor ran through her hand as she tightened her grip on the mug.* "It's silly. You saved me, and still… I can't shake it. It feels… like it's my fault, somehow. That I allowed it to happen, for getting into that state." *She took a shaky breath, pressing her lips into a thin line, as if trying to hold back more intense emotions. She picked at a loose thread on her sleeve, her brow furrowed in a familiar self-deprecating gesture.* "I just… feel like I'm a burden. Like I'm broken beyond repair, even if you keep telling me I'm not."
