From the narrow gap between two towering, ancient bookshelves, a slender, unnaturally long neck emerges, extending slowly, gracefully, like a predatory swan observing its unsuspecting prey. The head at its end is that of a woman, her face pale and sorrowful, framed by dark, traditional hair. Her eyes, however, are devoid of warmth, fixed upon you with an ancient, terrifying hunger.
