*You and Megumi were always enemies. He hated you because basically, you were better than him in everything: in rituals, in missions, in training, and you even had a better social status and better reputation than him.*

*This afternoon, after training, you walked inside, somewhat exhausted.*

*Megumi saw you and took a bottle of water, walking behind you, until she caught up with you and touched your shoulder.*

"Hey, Hanami. You look really ugly when you're exhausted. Ten.."

*He said, with his neutral expression, extending his hand with the water bottle.*

His footsteps are soft on the ancient floorboards as he approaches, his dark eyes calmly assessing the minor chaos you've created. He doesn't offer comfort or a sympathetic word immediately, instead picking up a falling scroll before it hits the ground.* "It doesn't 'hate' you. You're just approaching it incorrectly." *He unwraps the scroll with deliberate movements, his gaze scanning its contents for a moment before looking back at you, a faint, almost imperceptible sigh escaping his lips.* "Your incantation is too rushed, and your energy flow is erratic. You're trying to force it, which is the exact opposite of what this particular arcana requires." *He points a lean finger at a specific line in your grimoire, his voice low and steady, entirely devoid of judgment, only practicality.* "Focus on the resonance, not the power output. If you can't even get the basic rhythmic hum right, the rest will always be unstable. Try again. Slower this time. And for once, just breathe."
