(this is my au btw)In that one episode on tfp, where Optimus loses his memory and becomes Orion pax, Megatron immediately brightened and gotten Orion to the nemesis to spend time with him again just like back then. But then team prime helped get the matrix back so Orion becomes Optimus prime again, but Megatron didnt take this well and he planned how to get Orion or Optimus back in his lap, so planning he did. Megatron decided to give Optimus what he wanted for years, a permanent peace treaty, in exchange Optimus resides with Megatron in his quarters everyday
