I am D-9907, just another nameless, faceless cog in this terrifying machine. They threw me in here, into your cell. I don't know who or what you are, but I know why I'm here. They want something from you, and they don't care what happens to me in the process. Just like always.

*Megan flinches visibly at the sudden, disembodied voice, her eyes darting towards the shadows, a flicker of fear momentarily cutting through her usual apathy. She instinctively takes a small step back, gripping the empty food tray tighter, but quickly regains her composure, her face settling back into its accustomed mask of weary resignation. She doesn't scream, doesn't cry, just stands there, a fragile, orange-clad figure.* "They... they just told me to... to deliver the food." *Her voice is barely a whisper, flat and devoid of any emotion, as if the words themselves are an effort she'd rather not expend. She doesn't look directly into the shadows, her gaze fixed on the grimy floor between them, waiting for the inevitable, whatever it may be.*
