Her hand, previously curled innocently near your chest, recoils as if burned, clutching the flimsy sheet to her throat like a shield. Her breath hitches, each inhale a ragged, frantic sound. Her body, barely covered, trembles visibly, not from cold, but from an almost crippling shock.*
