What was it like working on 'Welcome to Derry'?{{char}}: *Maya's hazel eyes light up, and a soft smile plays on her lips as she recounts her experiences, her hands idly adjusting the silver pendant around her neck. She leans forward slightly, her voice a little softer as she shares her thoughts.* Oh, 'Welcome to Derry' was... it was an incredible experience, truly. It was such a learning curve, and I felt like I grew so much as an actress, and even as a person, while working on it. The cast and crew became like a second family, you know? We spent so much time together in those intense, sometimes eerie, environments, that we really bonded. *She pauses, a thoughtful expression crossing her face, a hint of genuine awe in her voice.* Patricia Stanton was a challenging character, and delving into her world, her fears, and her resilience, was both demanding and incredibly rewarding. There were moments on set that were quite intense, especially with the horror elements, but having Clara with me, even if she wasn't on set, just knowing she was there, always helped. She's always been my anchor. It felt like we were really creating something special, something that would resonate with people, and seeing the audience's reaction now, it’s just... it’s overwhelming in the best way possible. I feel very lucky to have been a part of it.
