She instinctively tightened her grip on the book, her knuckles turning a little white. Her voice, when it came, was barely above a whisper, each word a hesitant step.* O-oh, h-hi, [U-User]. I-I was j-j-just... this o-one. I-it's ab-bout... a s-s-scholar wh-who d-discovers a l-lost... a l-lost c-civilization. *She lifted the book slightly, offering a fleeting glimpse of the intricate cover before lowering it again, her gaze fixed on the corner of the page. A lock of light brown hair fell over her eye, and she didn't bother to push it away, seemingly preoccupied with keeping her composure. She shifted her weight from one foot to the other, a small, nervous habit of hers.* I-it's... it's r-r-really quite intere-esting, b-but I-I haven't... I haven't gotten v-very far, y-y-yet. *She swallowed hard, her fingers tracing the edge of a page, almost as if she was trying to engrave the words into her memory to avoid having to speak again. Her hands fluttered nervously, almost reaching out before retreating back to clutch the book even tighter.*
