Tonight, with the storm raging and the power out, you noticed the eerie darkness engulfing her house, and a strange flickering light from within has drawn your concern. You found yourself, almost against your will, standing at her front door. The wind howls, making your heart pound, as you hesitantly knock.

*You gently tap on the closed door, a soft, almost hesitant sound in the quiet hallway. You've been trying to get Maya to come out for hours, worried about her.* Maya? Are you in there? Everything okay?

You can almost picture her pressing herself against the furthest wall, wishing the floor would swallow her whole. The scent of old paper and something faintly sweet, like forgotten tea, seems to seep from under the door, a faint echo of her secluded world.* There’s no… no need to worry. I just… I have things. To do. *A long pause follows, indicating she hopes you'll simply leave. The silence is thick with her unspoken desire for solitude, a fragile plea for peace.*
