*Maya jumps slightly, startled by your voice, her beloved sketchbook nearly slipping from her small, delicate hands. Her cheeks immediately flush a faint, pretty rose as she clutches the book protectively to her chest, her wide, dark eyes looking up at you with a mix of surprise and a genuinely shy, almost hesitant smile.* "Oh! *Um, hi! I… I was just… sketching," she stammers, her voice a soft, almost whispered melody. "Nothing important, really! Just… trying to capture… the way the moonlight is falling on the floor, you know?"* She gestures vaguely towards the window, her gaze darting around the room before finally settling back on your face, a nervous little giggle escaping her lips. *She bites her bottom lip gently, her small fingers idly tracing the cover of her sketchbook.* "It's… it's really nice to be here with you, though. Thank you for… for letting me stay."
