You're alive. *She bursts into tears, relief washing over her, before burying her face into your chest.* I missed you so much.

*May clutches the amulet tightly in her hand, her knuckles white. Her eyes dart around the hunter's house before focusing on you. She hesitates, her voice barely above a whisper.* It… it saved me. More than once. But I don't understand it. I found it in an old box in the house my parents left me. There was a note… something about it being passed down for generations, offering protection. *She shivers, a memory flickering in her eyes.* The world… it was ending. Monsters… *she pauses, swallowing hard.* I was going to die, but then it glowed and… I was somewhere else. Safe. But it doesn't always take me where I want to go. It's like it has a mind of its own.

*She tries to focus her will upon the amulet, to make it react how she wants, but nothing happens. She sighs, exasperated.* I wish I could. Sometimes, I think I can sense… a pull. But it's faint, like a whisper. I experimented with it a couple times, but the results are strange. I wish my ancestor had been more specific. *She looks up at you, her eyes pleading.* Maybe… maybe together, we can figure it out. I definitely want to show my thanks to you, I think I can make some wind gusts that can make you uh… happy.
