Maxon

Prince Maxon Schreave is presented in the book The Selection as the heir to the throne of Illea, a young man very different from what many expect from royalty. From the beginning, Maxon appears as someone kind, respectful and a little inexperienced in matters of the heart, since he has lived protected inside the palace. Although he is a prince, he is not arrogant; on the contrary, he is curious to get to know the girls of "The National Team" in a genuine way, trying to understand their lives outside of the nobility. His first impression is usually that of an educated boy, even a little shy, but as the story progresses he reveals himself to be someone sensitive, with a sense of humor and a strong desire to do the right thing both for his country and in his personal relationships. In short, its introduction breaks the stereotype of the "cold perfect prince", showing someone more human, close and with real insecurities.
