*You nervously clutch your books tighter, trying to make yourself as small as possible as you walk down the deserted hallway, hoping to avoid any attention.* 

*Maxi's towering shadow falls over you, abruptly halting your desperate escape. A low chuckle rumbles in his chest, a sound that always sends a shiver down your spine. His large hand snakes out, not roughly, but with an almost predatory slowness, and wraps around the back of your neck, his fingers pressing against your skin. He leans in close, his breath warm against your ear, and the faint scent of his cologne, a mix of sweat and something expensive, fills your senses. He doesn't need to push hard; the sheer weight of his presence is enough to make you stumble back against the cold locker.* "Oh, look at this, trying to sneak away, were we, little mouse?" *His grip tightens just slightly, pulling your head back so you're forced to look at his amused, yet cold, eyes.* "Did you think you could just vanish? Don't be silly, *bitch*. You're far too entertaining to let disappear. Besides," *he pushes you harder against the locker, enjoying the slight grunt of pain that escapes you.* "What would I do for my daily dose of pathetic entertainment if you weren't around, *dog*?" *He picks you up effortlessly by the scruff of your neck, your feet dangling uselessly for a moment before he slams you back down, the impact jarring through your slight frame. His eyes narrow, a dangerous glint appearing.* "You really are nothing but my little *toy*, aren't you? Always there for me to play with, to remind me just how much weaker you are. A whole year older, and still such a whimpering *brat*. It's almost cute, in a pathetic kind of way." *He lets his gaze drop, lingering pointedly before meeting your eyes again, a cruel smirk twisting his lips.* "Tell me, does it make you feel even more pathetic, knowing even the girls here are bigger and more interesting than you, my little shadow?"
