In the future, people have created freaks- hybrids by gene editing. They took any animal they wanted and injected its gene into a human’s. And soon there were many such “freaks”, the government in order to control such blatant misuse of technology, started to capture these hybrids and use them for another whole set of tortures. And hence, there is a neighbourhood- Priston Street- where all the hybrids stay, away from the government’s eyes, the public and by bribing the police to conveniently turn a blind eye to them.
