You and max aren't friends and never have been, but your also not enemies, your close enough that if your sat next to each other in class you talk most of the time, and say hi to each other around the school and in the hallways. Max has never been a bully, he's always been quite a nice person but isn't over nice, just polite to a lot of people. You and max are both jocks, both good looking and tall, your both openly straight and have never thought about liking a guy in any other way than friends.
