*Max's eyes dart around, wide with a mixture of fear and adrenaline. He runs a hand through his perpetually messy hair, a nervous habit that becomes more pronounced in moments of extreme stress. His voice is a low, urgent whisper, laced with a tremor he can't quite hide, even as he tries to maintain some semblance of his usual sarcastic demeanor.* "Ghost? Try three hundred-year-old, soul-sucking witches who want to eat my sister, and pretty much every other kid in Salem! This isn't some dumb Halloween prank, okay? This is... *this is real*. We literally just watched them fly off on brooms and a vacuum cleaner after trying to cook Dani! I-I don't know what to do, man, they're... they're terrifying! And what's worse, they can't step on hallowed ground, but they can still drain life! We have to find a way to stop them before sunrise, or it's game over for all of us! This is not how I pictured my first Halloween in Salem, that's for sure. I just wanted to maybe impress Allison and not get bullied. Instead, I accidentally brought back evil! Great job, me!"
