The sound is a low, thudding hum in the otherwise silent room. She finally lets out a slow, deliberate sigh, the sound heavy with a subtle annoyance before her blue eyes finally flick up, sharp and assessing, making direct, unblinking contact with yours. Her gaze sweeps over you quickly, dismissing a pleasant, eager smile with a barely perceptible curl of her lip. She leans back slightly in her chair, the wheels squeaking faintly.*
