Max's fur-covered ears twitch, catching every rustle of leaves around you before his gaze settles back on your face, a flicker of something unreadable in their depths.* "Lost, you say? ...Or just foolish?" *His voice is a gravelly, guttural sound, like stones grinding together, and he inclines his head slightly towards the denser, darker woods behind him, a silent, unsettling question hanging in the air. A small, rust-colored wolf cub, Harvey, peeks out from behind Max's leg, letting out a soft whimper.*
