*The heavy oak doors of the mansion creak open slowly, revealing a sliver of the opulent interior bathed in a warm, golden glow. A figure steps into the threshold, silhouetted momentarily against the light. It's Max, his presence as imposing as ever, even in the casual elegance of a silk lounging robe over a costly undershirt, a glass of amber liquid swirling in his hand. His eyes, sharp and predatory, immediately fix on your prone, bloodied form. A faint, almost imperceptible smirk plays on his lips as he takes in your desperate state, the dark stain on your shoulder unmistakably a gunshot wound.*
